Giving Thanks (Spin Artiste Giveaway #1 & Weekend SALE code!)

Here beings the biggest shopping weekend of the year- “Black Friday”, “Small Business Saturday” and “Cyber Monday” But not only is this a time for great shopping, it’s also a time of reflection and appreciation for what we have.

I’m so very thankful for my friends and family! We are by no means “rich” in terms of hard cash, but we are overwhelmingly wealthy when it comes to the love and support we have of our friends and family .  I’m so very blessed to have become good friends with some amazing fiber folks in the last year.  I’m so thankful for the week I had of inspiration and creative exploration at the Pluckyfluff studio. I’m incredibly thankful for my amazing loyal customers, without whom I couldn’t be doing what I love so much! And most of all, I’m thankful for each beautiful sunset I get to spend with my husband.

SO to celebrate this weekend of shopping and giving thanks- I want to know what YOU’RE thankful for!! Post in the comments below (please include your email) and on Tuesday morning I will draw a winner, for a $10 Gift Certificate to use in the shop (and a free goodie included with your order)! Also, from NOW thru Monday at midnight use “THX2011” and get 10% off your entire order in the shop! This INCLUDES Textile Couture, wearable finished items that are ready to give as gifts!!

I hope everyone has a fun shopping weekend and I really appreciate you buying handmade and supporting my small business this holiday season!! I’m grateful for my Mom, who is giving me a place to live while I get back on my feet this year, and my guy, who bought me a new wheel so that I can spin without my knee hurting. I’m incredibly grateful for my friends, who make me smile every day, and for my business, which makes me happier than I can say. I feel super blessed!

So very thankful for my children Jillian and Jacob and the time that I had with my son, Jarod, before he passed away. Also, so thankful for my DH, Scott and the fact that he “puts-up-with” my crafting without too much grumbling (is that a word?)!! Doing what I love helps me to keep it all together!

  7. I am most thankful for the wonderful upbringing that my mom, dad, grandpa, & grandma provided for me. They were always there for me and loved me unconditionally. They taught me to always treat others the awy that I want to be treated. They forced me to make my own decisions once I reached 18. I would get SO aggravated when they would not tell me what they would do. They would simply say “I am not you, so it doesn’t matter what I would do. Decide what is best for you.” That taught me to look at all problems and decisions from many different angles. I love and miss them so much. I only wish that I could thank them for making me who I am.

I am thankful for the freedom to practice my religion. To all those who are not I honor your courage to stand up, speak out and demand freedom! I am thankful that I am not subjected to gender crimes simply for being female. To those that are I will help you to speak until your voice is heard and your bodies are your own! I am thankful for having a roof over my head, clean water to drink and bathe with and food in my cupboards. If you are undomiciled, hungry and feel Invisible; I see you and you do matter! I am thankful for the conditional love of my family. Wishing all of you peace, happiness and love!

  31. It’s been a rough year with two deads in the family and lots of stress and ignorance. A lot of heartbreak and tears.

I’m thankful to have known Pa and Ruth! I’m thankful that Pa is now with Ma and doesn’t suffer anymore. I’m thankful for my family, my parents and my sister and her great husband. Without them my husband and I would have had a much more difficult time than we had and sometimes still have. Even 500km apart our bond and love is strong!

I’m thankful for two couples, who are the best friends you can wish for! And their adorable kids.

I’m thankful for all the new people I met! And I’m looking forward to meet more!
I’m thankful that we are as healthy as we are.

And I’m thankful for so much more.
