Creative Fiber Arts Classes

Esther Rodgers is an internationally known fiber arts teacher. She’s filmed four streaming videos with Interweave Press (now Long Thread Media) on creative and art yarn spinning, expressive weaving  and color blending. 

She also has a very popular class on Craftsy about fiber preparation.

She has written numerous articles for PLY, SpinOFF and Handwoven Magazines, and is featured in books by Lexi Boeger and Ashley Martenau.

Esther has taught for groups in Norway, Iceland and Holland and has done work with Ashford in New Zealand, as well as taught for festivals like Rheinbeck,Maryland Sheep and Wool, PLYAway, and Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair.

Currently the studio is closed to in person classes due to COVID precautions. Group classes are coming and individual ZOOM classes are currently available.

Virtual Studio Facebook Group is open for group exploration of challenges, along with live demos and hang outs.

One on One Zoom workshops are $30 for 40minutes, or buy 4 and get one free in a series.

Sessions can be tailored to any topic the student wants to cover. More intensive study often requires more than one session.
