You’re only a day a way..  well, plus a few hours since I’m scheduled at 3:45pm!! But it’s finally here!! Tomorrow is the big day.. the ostomy reversal, or “takedown” as I’ve heard it called. I know I’ve been sorta quiet these last months. I’m not going to lie, it’s been some hard moments.  And some less hard..  and I
Each year, in Kansas City, a worldwide gathering of spinners happens (often in the lobby of the hotel) that sparks the soul. Jacey and the folks at Ply Magazine put on quite the spinners retreat- bringing in amazing teachers, providing an incredible market of vendors, and lots of other super fun activities to bring people together and fuel the creative
So here we are, almost 4 weeks post surgery, and things are going amazingly well- especially compared to the last time. Surgery itself was long. 6ish hours.  The surgeon was able to take the damaged piece of my small intestine, while also finding some deep infections and additional fistulas that he somewhat expected.  He felt the best way for me
