There is something special happening right now. The Journey to the Golden Fleece is a creative challenge, it’s an art journal exercise with fiber as a medium, and it’s designed to expand your internal horizons and your fiber knowledge.
In all the craziness of the Fall, I didn’t get a chance to post about my new endeavor- writing for PLY Magazine!
What a summer it has been! Full of amazing of travels, yarn and fiber! HUGE Adventures around every corner. First I was in Copenhagen and Holland, and then only 3 weeks later, Vithard and I taught a cruise to the Bahamas!
I think I’ve said that I’m lucky. I have amazing friends that are creative and inspiring and wonderful teachers. Sometimes, I get the wonderful honor to co-teach with these amazing friends. My workshop in Holland was one of those times.
I’m so excited! I have been wanting a SAORI loom for a couple years and I finally have been able to purchase one for my studio. This loom is amazing and is the perfect partner to textured and artisan yarns! I feel like my other half has arrived!
Last Fall I spent a day in Asheville filming segments for WLOS ABC 13 Craft Corner segments. Over the last couple months 3 more segments aired and I just found them online.
We always have a great time at SAFF in Asheville! This year was no different- in fact it was even BETTER than usual since we were joined by friends from Picasso’s Moon Yarn Shop and Carolina Fiber Company
I’m so excited because my first segment that I filmed for AB 13 WLOS Asheville aired today! I am SO happy with how it turned out! As the first one filmed you can’t even tell I’m nervous!
