I scored some awesome fleeces last weekend at Yarnival! Even better, they were TEN DOLLARS a fleece!! I promised a few friends there that when I got home I would share my fleece washing process. Everyone has their own twist- this is how I do it.
ONE week until Stitches Midwest!! I’ve been working like a crazyperson getting ready- and I’m getting really excited! I have been covered in sparkle and fiber for weeks- I finally have photos to share!! Ready for a preview of what I’m bringing?
I can’t believe that Stitches Midwest is less than a month, and SAFF is just around the corner from that!! Since I have lots of fiber onhand- custom repeat listings have been added to the shop! I’m really excited because I have my booth locations confirmed for both festivals- and I have GREAT spots!!
We had a wonderful time in Asheville a couple of weeks ago! There’s such a great fiber community- we really enjoy participating in the Friends and Fiberworks retreats!

Today was a wonderful day!! I spent it with my Aura.. spinning extreme tailspinning, locky yarns with coils, corespun yarns with sequins.. It’s fun to keep myself spinning new things every day!!
I love the Tour De Fleece! Every year I prepare by gathering things I’ve been meaning to spin, but just haven’t gotten around too.. things I’ve dreamed out.. things that I’ve wanted to make happen. I’m offering a shop discount as well for those who are participating!
